Second in the Series of Jaco Short Videos - The Home and Retract Positions

Jaco fits to the side of a powered wheelchair, and when not in use the user moves Jaco to the retract position. This is a low power position and positions Jaco so the user is free to focus on other activities. We are often asked if the retract position can be tucked away being he wheelchair. The answer depends on the wheelchair geometry, the exact Jaco mounting position and other equipment the user has on heir wheelchair. In this video the advanced retract position is alongside the wheelchair. These are the types of decisions that can be made during the trial of the Jaco (normally one day) when the Jaco is mounted to the users wheelchair and the control is integrated with the wheelchair control system. Such a trial allows the user to fully experience all aspects of Jaco use.
